I'm in love. But, let's back up. I have been kind of
horribly grumpy and uncomfortable. And part of this is the fact that only one pair of my Athleta work out pants seems like suitable attire, yet they are not work appropriate. So, last week, I did something kind of crazy and ordered a new maternity outfit. This seems silly because, as of yesterday, I have only four weeks to go until my due date!! Woo hoo! (In translation that means I am officially nine months pregnant, big as a house, and swollen.) I ordered a pair of pants and a shirt from HATCH. This company markets its pieces as items to be worn during and after pregnancy. Having clothes that are appropriate for pregnancy but still work on a non-pregnant body is pretty hard to imagine given most of the maternity clothes on the market. But, I scoured reviews on the web, and it seemed like women were actually wearing these clothes after baby, particularly before the old wardrobe is back in full rotation. So, I went ahead and placed my order.
Now, I have to point out that HATCH is expensive. Really expensive. But, if I had it to do over, I probably would have bought less things and bought all my maternity clothes from this company. When my package arrived yesterday, I was blown away by the quality of the items and the beautiful fit. For the first time in a long time, I actually felt kind of, dare I say it, stylish and really comfortable. I will certainly be wearing these items post baby (and probably for a very long time). If you are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, I cannot more enthusiastically endorse this brand. I am tempted to order more pieces! When you are pregnant, anything that makes you feel good in your skin, is worth it, and HATCH is certainly worth it.
P.S. If anyone is thinking of really spoiling the mamma to be, this HATCH-to-Hospital box would be the ultimate indulgent gift! HINT HINT
