Monday Musings

Well, my friends, it was another fun filled weekend in San Francisco. The weather was beautiful and the company was fantastic. Here are a few snaps from our adventures.

The two photos above were taken at Top of The Mark, which is the bar/restaurant at the top of the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental Hotel. The views, particularly at dusk, are phenomenal.

Driving through Marin...

These two colorful photos were taken at Toby's Feed Barn in Point Reyes. We love going up there. It is so relaxing, and there is so much delicious food to be had. The drive from San Francisco is also a beautiful one.

This was such a cool old barn, but, from the looks of things, there hasn't been any dancing round those parts in a long, long, time.

And, because you can't drive all that way and not sample the merchandise, we made our first top at The Marshall Store, which is perfect if you want oysters, but don't want to shuck your own. Also, love their chocolate chip cookies. And after that, not yet full of oysters, we hit up one of our favorite spots...

By the way, this area is becoming hot, hot, hot. This past week's goop featured a great review of the Point Reyes area!

I am starting the week a little exhausted from all the fun we've been having, but I do enjoy showing off the city. Two more restaurants to add to the list of fab places in SF:

SPQR: We went here for my birthday two years ago. That was our first time, and I fell in love. I have never been disappointed by their eclectic, inventive menu.

Cotogna: This was my first time at this Italian eatery. It is on a lovely little street in Jackson Square, and the pasta is out of this world.

I had my fair share of Italian food this weekend, but it is my favorite kind, so it suited me just fine!

Hope you are having a pleasant Monday!
