Fall Bag Round Up

Okay, my friends. I really need your advice. I have decided that this fall I want to buy one classic item to add to my wardrobe. Since clothing is kind of off the table right now given that I lost my waist weeks ago, I have been fixating on accessories, and, more specifically, a new bag. I have been scouring the internet for options that are versatile, simple, stylish, and elegant, and this is what I've narrowed it down to. Of course, I did create a price cap for myself, which excluded a lot of luxury brands. This selection is more "reasonable." I do know that for a piece I can use for years, I have to dish out a little dough.

From the top:

CUYANA leather tote: This is one of the most affordable options (and it comes in loads of colors). It is simple and great for everyday use. Plus, it can be monogrammed, which is a major plus in my book.

MADEWELL kensington satchel: My sister bought this recently and highly recommends it. It can also be monogrammed (bonus points!). I like that it can either be worn as a cross body bag or carried by the short handles. Versatility is great.

MADEWELL sloane mini-satchel: While I like the size of the Kensington, I think that this smaller size has an appeal as well. I often find that bags that are larger get too heavy to carry across the body. The one thing about this choice is that the color is not as easy as cognac or black. That being said, it is a lovely color.

COACH willis bag: Blair Eadie has this bag and wears it frequently. Need I say more? Cool quotient = through the roof.

CUYANA leather saddle bag: The only kind of saddle bag in which I have any interest. Love the color and size. Classic shape to boot.

HENRI BENDEL west 57th satchel: As you can see, I am really loving the Henri Bendel bags. They are probably the front runners for me at this point. The question is, which one do I love the most? The satchel?

HENRI BENDEL west 57th tote: Or the tote? I might have to wait until I'm in NY in a few weeks to check this out in person.

RACHEL RUDDICK east west shopper tote: This bag is elegant in its simplicity.

TORY BURCH amanda foldover messanger: Am I being a sucker for the branding? In all honesty, yes.

JOIE edie tote: This is a great size and has sides zip, which means its adjustable depending on your needs.

My major question here is black or cognac (or the one plum option)? Second question is large or small?  Which of these calls out to you? Help a girl out.
