Fresh For Fall

I have been so distracted lately, that I am behind on scoping out the new J.Crew fall collection. But, the arrival of my little rewards card in the mail reminded me to check that out. Here are some of my favorite fall pieces. I think these would make for a lovely fall wardrobe.

I absolutely love all the pieces they are doing with leather (like the sweater above). The one thing I desperately want for fall (and have lusted for since I moved to SF) is a leather jacket. But, the ones I want are decidedly out of my price range. In the meantime, I think I could settle for some leather embellishments.

I also like the baseball hat trend that seems to be going on. I saw (and by "saw" I mean online) a few of them at Fashion Week last year, but it appears they are now going more mainstream. I like this trend because of the misty weather in this city. My hair hates it, and I do sometimes throw on a baseball hat for the commute to work to keep my locks under control. I think a nice wooly hat for fall and winter would be just the thing to combat this problem.

Overall, I like the rich, dark tones. I love color as much as the next girl, but there is something so classic about the gray, black, navy, and camel colors of this season. It certainly makes for a versatile closet.

Just so happens that a sale is currently on: 25% off orders of $150 of more with the code FALLSTYLE. Plus, free shipping on every order. Get your shop on.
