Monday Musings: Paris Edition

Sunday was a difficult day. I arrived back in California on Saturday evening. I was quite exhausted from a long day of travel, but happy to see my husband. Sunday morning was extremely sunny-a quintessential California day. Though the weather was spectacular, the scenery by the beach where we took a walk gorgeous, and the croissant my husband made for me breakfast almost as delicious as those I ate in Paris (actually it might have been equally delicious), I was under a dark cloud thinking about the end of the most amazing and spectacular of weeks.

On the plane on the way home, my mom asked me if Paris was everything I hoped it would be. To answer her, it was beyond what I hoped it would be. I will never forget this past week. When something you've looked forward to for so long is over, it is hard not to be a little sad. But, then I thought about the fact that I would get to share my trip this week, and I started blogging and organizing photos. I hope you don't mind, but this week is all about reliving the magic! I've tried to organize the photos thematically. I'll hope you'll join me as I share the memories I made. Today I wanted to share the little details, the colors, and the small moments that made my time in Paris so beautiful.

  1. Wonderful photos! You look fantastic and the colors are so vibrant. I hope this week is not too down-in-the-dumps, but now you need to plan your next journey! Travel is the essence of life!

  2. LOVE all of your Paris photos. What a gorgeous trip! Thank you for sharing:)

  3. Gorgeous photos! I'm dying to go to Paris someday. :)
