What's on Your Vanity?

I could not be more excited to share this post with you. Lara is the wonderful lady behind the glossarie, a blog designed to post exclusively positive reviews of beauty products she's tried and approved because they work. I have used her blog as a reference for what to buy almost every time I need a new product. And, her struggle with problematic skin made me feel particularly soul-matey with her! I bombed on her blog, and I was in seventh heaven when the girl who knows everything about make-up was willing to tell us what she actually uses on the regular. So, without further ado, I bring you Ms. Lara Ramos!

Lara writes:
I'm traveling this week, so I've decided to do a post of what's on my hotel vanity:

I've been using this new face wash and moisturizer from my dermatologist with amazing results. My skin is so soft and healthy; it feels incredible!

My favorite of-the-moment foundation is Total FX Total Cover Cream because it's easy to build coverage and the finish is flawlessly natural. I apply it with this brush from It Cosmetics, using the smaller side to concentrate coverage under my eyes and around my nose.

I'm loving bright pops of color this winter, so I bring a little flush to my cheeks with Stila Convertible Color in Petunia using my fingers. I swipe on some of Anthropologie's Albeit Lipstick in Peony (a pretty coral) and coat my lashes with Clinique's Bottom Lash (I love the control and length you get from that teeny tiny brush!). I also keep Make Up For Ever's HD Microfinish Powder and a kabuki brush handy for fighting shine.

At night, I rely on the duo of Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream and Super's Lush Lips - especially when I'm in dry hotel rooms.

So there you have it, a glance at my on-the-go beauty routine. Thanks so much for having me, Meredith!

Thank you, Lara, for stopping by! You are going to make the "no shopping month challenge" particularly hard!
