What's On Your Vanity?

I am very excited to bring you a glimpse of another great gal's vanity. Here are some recommendations from Ashley Teale of Turquoise and Teale.

Ashley writes:
These are my daily must-have's and beauty savers!

Tan Towel: Tanning beds aren't for me, but I still like to add a bit of color to my face year round. Tan Towel is a great way to moisturize and tint your face. It doesn't have a strong odor like some tanners tend to have, and after a few uses you'll see results.

Orofluido: If you're a fan of Moroccan Oil than be prepared to have a new hair addiction. Orofluido smells great and leaves strands silky smooth, banishing split ends.

Dry Shampoo: Dry shampoo is my go-to lifesaver for days when my roots need a quick pick me up or are looking oily. It works better than baby powder, and Oscar Blandi has a blonde and brunette version so you don't have to worry about your roots looking white from the powder. A little goes a long way, and I've had the same bottle for over a year.

Bioderma: One of my favorite eye makeup removers to date. I first heard about it over on Lisa Eldriges' blog and have been hooked ever since. It may seem a bit pricey, but again, the bottle will last you quite a long time. It's great at getting off water-proof eyeliner and doesn't leave a greasy residue.

Fresh Eye Cream: It's never to early too start taking care of your skin and eye cream is no different. This cream is great if you're in your twenties and looking for a preventative treatment. I put it on nightly and tap under my eyes and under my eyebrows.

Acure Night Cream: Natural skincare lines are some of my favorite. I picked up this night cream at Whole Foods and love the way it hydrates my skin overnight. Added bonus: smells just like a spa treatment!

Korres Moisturizer: A recent trip to Sephora introduced me to this all-natural skincare line. This is my daily moisturizer that doesn't cause breakouts or oily spots. They have a whole collection of products I can't wait to try out.

Clarisonic: The rumors are all true; the Clarisonic is purely amazing. I'm always amazed by just how much dirt and makeup it removes from my skin. I start each morning by washing my face with this and following with the Korres moisturizer. It also leaves your face silky smooth!

Thank you, Ashley, for your terrific recommendations! Definitely want to try some of these!

    1. I really like Tan Towel. It won't add color right away, but use it for a week or so and you'll start to see some color. I heard the wipes they make are good too!
