Paris! Oui! Oui!

If you've been reading, you know I'm coming up on a big birthday this year...and my mom is too. We have been planning to celebrate en Paris! I have been to Paris once on an amazing trip with my grandparents when I was in eighth grade, but I am quite certain that going back as adult will be markedly different! First and foremost, I can drink wine. Critical difference. I like to imagine (whether or not this becomes reality is quite irrelevant at this point in time) that this will be the luxury trip of a lifetime. With that in mind, I started poking around possible hotels. What I have found thus far makes my heart skip a beat. Check out these amazing Parisian boudoirs. Yes, don't mind if I do.

Hotel Therese: This is the most modest (and I mean that tongue-in-cheek), but I love the clean lines and modern feel.

Champs Elysees Plaza: Luxury and opulence. The funny part is the way they've styled the rooms in the photos. The unmade bed...the Chanel bags thrown casually in the corner...the fur throws...this place embodies hedonism (and exactly how I imagine this trip) at its best.

Saint James Paris: Speaking of opulence. There are no words.

Don't you worry! There's more where these came from. I'll keep you posted!

  1. All too fabulous for words. Looks like you & your mom are in for quite special birthdays!

    1. My mom read this and said she was "frightened" by my expectations. :)

  2. Mere, I'm on your blog, finally! Do you use Tablet Hotels, fantastic, well pictured site for boutique hotels? I'm obsessed slash rarely stay elsewhere:

  3. Mr. and Mrs. Smith is also decent for boutique hotel perusal, (though Tablet is my tried and true):

  4. Lastly, (and then I'll stop clogging up your lovely blog with my commentary), b/c you mentioned you're into blog buddies, I think you'd enjoy another girlfriend's - Daily Cup of Couture: xx, L
